Check Before You Click — Support

Free basic checks. Practical help.

Free basic checks for common scam warning signs.

Check Before You Click helps you review messages, screenshot text and website addresses before acting. It checks common patterns and address structure. It does not prove fraud or guarantee safety.

How to check a message

Choose Message, paste the text, remove passwords and verification codes, then tap Check for warning signs. Read each explanation and verify the request using an official app or phone number you already trust.

How to check a screenshot

Choose Screenshot and select an image containing English text. Recognition runs on your device. Review and correct the extracted text before checking it. If recognition fails, choose a clearer screenshot smaller than 8 MB or paste the text manually.

How to check a website address

Choose Website and enter an address. This checks the address structure; it does not visit the website or scan downloads. A familiar brand name or HTTPS does not prove legitimacy. An optional Google site-status lookup opens externally after confirmation.

Troubleshooting

Some scams have no obvious warning signs, and legitimate messages can trigger warnings. A clean result never guarantees safety. Internet access is needed to open external help links; message checks and screenshot recognition run locally.

Email consulting@bahtkalebconsulting.com with the app version and a description of the issue. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, account numbers, or unredacted financial or identity documents. If you send a screenshot for support, remove private information first.

If you may have been scammed

Contact your bank or payment provider using an official number. For US reporting and recovery resources, visit ReportFraud.ftc.gov and IdentityTheft.gov directly. This app is an educational screening tool, not a fraud investigation or emergency service.
